What energy-saving measures are there for control transformers?

添加时间:2026-05-21

1. Generally, in this situation, the operating environmental load of a control transformer under ideal social conditions is about 60-70Se. Control transformers are used to change the AC voltage and consist of a core and coiled wires. They can not only change the AC voltage but also alter impedance, and without exceeding the designed power, they can also change the current. The line reactor, also called a commutation reactor, can limit current surges caused by sudden changes in the grid voltage and operational overvoltage, effectively protecting terminal electrical equipment, suppressing radio interference, and improving the power factor. The input winding and output winding of a control transformer are energized, and control transformers are used to prevent accidental simultaneous contact with live transformer parts. Isolation refers to having separate primary and secondary windings for the transformer. At this time, transformer losses are small, and operational management costs are low.

2. When the transformer's temperature rise exceeds 8°C, its service life will be halved.

When a transformer has a three-phase imbalance, the larger negative sequence current must not exceed 5% of the positive sequence current. If connected to the transformer winding, the current through the middle line must not exceed 25% of the transformer's rated current. Otherwise, losses will increase.

3. In power management systems, various higher-order harmonics can lead to energy losses. Generally, for socially isolated transformers, reducing or eliminating higher-order harmonics in the power supply control system is not considered very necessary.

4. If a transformer’s load distribution system is unreasonable, the active losses of heavy loads continuously increase, the reactive losses of light loads increase, and the power factor deteriorates.
